Uptime and ISO55001 used to evaluate a Major Health Care Facility
A CONSCIOUS ASSET CASE STUDY
Conscious Asset worked with a major hospital formed by the merger of two, each of which had different methods, techniques and legacy problems. It also had 3 generations of facility construction, an older (1970’s vintage) children’s hospital, a newer (1980’s vintage) women’s hospital and an even newer (2000’s vintage) linkage joining them together.
With three different construction standards and generations of installed systems and equipment, maintenance and development of the facility as needs change was challenging.
We were engaged to review maintenance and asset management practices.
See how we helped to:
- Change attitudes towards maintenance
- Motivate maintainers
- Avoid expensive system replacements
- Keep disruptions to a minimum
- Identify major structural risks for further examination
