FOR A RETAIL GOODS DISTRIBUTION OPERATION
A CONSCIOUS ASSET CASE STUDY
Conscious Asset worked with a Consumer Goods Distribution company which had varying maintenance practices and standards.
A major retailer operates a number of large warehouse and cross-docking distribution centers supplying over 1,700 outlets across North America.
The retailer’s VP of Supply Chain was concerned that the maintenance standards at the facilities varied and that in the longer term, the condition of the outsourced facilities (which were newer) would fall below that of the older facilities they managed themselves.
See how we worked with a consumer good distribution company that:
- Management practices and work discipline at the older stores was below the standards of the newer stores
- All stores used our recommendations for maintenance
- Some of the Maintenance practices were added to the set of standards
- Across the board there was good sharing of information, experience and practices
