Work Order Analysis Feedback

Work Order Analysis Feedback is used to highlight problems with data that arise in the normal course of doing maintenance. Data gathering is often overlooked and poor quality data can lead to confusion and a lack of improvement where it is really needed.

The video below is a recording of a meeting, done online using Zoom, of our reliability engineer (Rod) talking with a maintenance manager about an analysis performed on the manager’s work order data. Over 800 work orders, specific to two pieces of troublesome equipment were analyzed in roughly a week. From the data that was submitted there are a number of insights that can be gleaned about what is happening at the operational site. Our analyst did not have to visit the site – this can all be done as a remote service.

After the initial analysis (which you can watch here), a decision would be made to analyze more data, work with the site personnel on potential improvements to the equipment, systems or even the work order data and data collection methods being used.
