On this page, you can estimate the value to your organization of making improvements to both maintenance efficiency and the effectiveness of your overall maintenance program.
The embedded spreadsheet window is divided into three sections.
- Efficiency vs. Effectiveness (EvE) self-assessment for Maintenance and Reliability in your organization.
It will produce a score indicating how well you are doing.
Red (lower left) indicates poorly, dark green (upper right) indicates that you are doing very well.
The closer to the dark green (upper right) corner you are, the better your performance is.
Your improvement opportunity will shrink as your performance improves, but may still be worth pursuing.
- Current Performance metrics inputs – the light blue cells are for your inputs.
This section contains some default values, based on your EvE results. Those are in “gold” boxes.
Those values can be over-ridden by inputting data in the light blue box to their right.
The column on the right indicates that the input is valid (green), missing (red), or provides information on which value is being used (yellow).
- Estimated Results are what we calculate based on all your inputs in the above two sections.
Sample answers and data are included for illustrative purposes only. Change those entries to reflect your own situation and data. To change the “x”‘s in the first section choose your response from the drop-down box and then, choose the blank using the drop-down box for the field you want to empty. In the second section, you can delete the sample entries and replace them with your own.
Begin by choosing your answers to the Efficiency vs. Effectiveness Assessment and progress down the worksheet, scrolling lower as you go.
